AMG Companies

AMG Companies is a multi-dimensional company who works with buying and reselling land, repurposing housing communities for a new demographic of clientele, a hedge fund company, investment group, and they are also starting an aviation division.

For all of these reasons, they logo needed to be futuristic but contemporary, detailed but simple, high-end/corporate but approachable. The biggest "want" from the client for their logo is a mark that can easily adapt to their growing divisions.

To reach this, I kept with a simple Futura inspired type because of it's basic shapes and how they are easily relatable. The cuts made in many of the letters create the feeling of moving forward and continuing on. This idea is then transcribed into the gray zig-zag graphic that leads the eye to the division of the company being discussed. Each division is pared up with a new color to help brand each part of the company better, but keeps the blue and gray and the main carriers.
