Flat Iron Building / SHRR
Logo details
This logo was created in conjunction with an upcoming relocation of a local law firm, SHRR law. The firm was in the process of renovating the Flat Iron Building to be LEED certified while maintaining the historical significance of the façade when they decided to promote the building's significance to the look of the historic downtown, as well as capitalize on this newly brand venue as their new home once their move was complete.
The Grand Rapids Flat Iron Building is one of the oldest buildings in Grand Rapids - having survived a catastrophic fire that swept through downtown; and, now, will be the largest LEED certified historic building housing a law firm in the United States.
The logo emulates the shape of the building as well as incorporates the shape of the historic windows found on the apex of the curve of the building.
