Gaia

The client: Gaia is the name of the clients personal yacht. As the yacht is custom made, unique and offers the highest prestige.

The Rationale and technical: Due to the "unique" and "prestige nature of the yacht, the logo had to offer the same promise. The logo was created completely from hand drawn letterforms. It has an italicised styling to imitate the flow of water and wind. The flash of colour and floating dot of the 'i' is an abstract flag that the yacht features. This is a two colour PMS logo and was applied (as concept) to various merchandise such as t-shirts, bedding, crockery, jackets, umbrellas etc not to mention the yacht itself.
