Hearsay Design

Hearsay, hearsaydesign.com, is a multi-disciplinary design studio based in the Washington, DC metro area with expertise in print, web, identity and interactive design. The logo was created with the intention of being both simple and playful while presenting the potential of the studio.

The mark resembles the simple iconography seen in way-finding signs around the world and can be universally understood despite language barriers. This was done with intention, to allow for the studio to grow its customer base internationally in the future.

The logotype uses the font Cocktail Shaker by Veer which is a bold script that is readable at small sizes. The script's retro 50s lounge and approachable feel further contribute to the playful nature of the overall logo.
