It's Delicious

This was created for my creative studio, "It's Delicious," where I work on graphic design and illustration jobs for clients, and paint for myself. Few things better suggest deliciousness than a cat salivating over a tasty fish. Placing the fish in the feline's eye symbolizes possibilities, for creativity and results. The logo had to be whimsical but also legible when printed small on business cards. So shapes were simplified as much as possible, without losing recognition of what they are. I drew the original art on scratchboard, since the texture reflects my style of image-making more than a clean-cut vector design would have.
