MadFoods for Madison County, NY Tourism

Madison County, NY has some of the most unique restaurants, chefs, locally grown produce and locally raised meats in the state. It’s full of fresh farmers markets and blossoming with new wineries, breweries and hop producers, creating a variety of food- and beverage-focused stops.
In 2012, ABC Creative Group set out to help Madison County, NY solidify and stake their claim as the “foodie” destination in New York and promote their “buy local” movement. We created “MadFoods,” a play on the Madison name and came up with a food-coma-like logo (read: vivid, hypnotic circles situated next to a fork and spoon) to capture the sass and personality of the brand. The MadFoods voice is mostly heard through a foodie-focused, blog-style website at MadFoods.com which features all the latest on top chefs, great dishes, unique foods, local farmers market info, events and more in the area. The MadFoods logo and campaign overall received an overwhelmingly positive response from the community and was spread around via print ads, billboards, stickers, coasters, apparel and produce bags for local farmers markets.
