Martin Vollinger

Martin Vollinger is German composer, conductor, music pedagog and organist who lives and works in Switzerland. He enjoys composing by combining classic and modern music styles such as jazz, salsa and pop which results in unique, refreshing and inspiring melodies. He wanted happy and joyful look but still to represent a proffesional musician.

The idea was to communicate playful commbination of various styles through type and incorporate in logo some recognizable music symbol. Letter "g" was created in shape of violin key, which is often called a G key or G clef. The line below is a bracket. It's a symbol frequently used in music notation to tie together more than one instrument.
