Agreed. I think the comet could point to the right and the trail could move into the negative space of the 'c'. Forward movement (the comet moving to the right) always makes me more comfortable.

This comet (less detailed) will make for a much better logo then the one in version 2. And i would play around with the type a little bit- this font choice seems to be lacking any character. Maybe just tweak this one a little (I would remove the terminal from the 't').
