By 1997, retailing in Saudi Arabia was undergoing a sweeping change — a move to international retailing. Assured of profitability, consistent delivery and professional marketing and advertising, foreign brands were eager to stake their claim in this lucrative market. Each year we added new brands and franchises. And by 2004 the company was well established as a major franchise holder, with interests in almost every segment of the fashion market. On January 4, 2006, we converted our legal status to a limited liability company. Subsequently it has been converted to a joint stock company in accordance with the resolution of the Minister of Commerce and Industry.
