Alfa Romeo logo 1972
The Alfasud project sees the birth of a new car plant in Pomigliano d'Arco, near Naples. For this reason the word Milano disappears from the emblem and with it the wavy lines - now no longer necessary - and also the dash between "Alfa" and "Romeo" disappear.
The overall figure of the Biscione Visconteo is remarkably stylized, together with the other elements that compose it.
