Created at the end of season 2022-2023, from the separation of Uniao Desportiva Vilafranquense - Futebol SAD (the company) from Uniao Desportiva Vilafranquense (the club). Because of this separation, UD Vilafranquense demoted itself to 7th tier, UD Vilafranquense - Futebol SAD made an agreement with 7th tier Club Desportivo Aves 1930 (founded 2020, phoenix-club of Club Desportivo Aves which was founded 1930 and extinct in 2022), who allowed them to change name to Avs Futebol SAD and play in Vila das Aves Stadium. Avs Futebol SAD is not related with CD Aves nor CD Aves 1930
