While creating the icon of the company, the aim was to portray the turtle with the same name. However, due to both the market the company is in and its corporate structure, the icon could not be of "comic" or "clip" types. Instead, a pictogram design was preferred which would easily carry the weight of the corporate structure of Caretta Software, still resembling a turtle at the same time.
