Hanomag
Hannoversche Maschinenbau AG Hanomag was a German company founded in 1835 that manufactured steam engines, locomotives, work machines and cars.
The company was founded by Georg Egestorff, originally as Eisen-Giesserey und Maschinenfabrik Georg Egestorff.
During the Second World War, the company's car factory produced transport equipment for military use.
In 1971, Hanomag's truck production was completely sold to the Daimler-Benz company, which produced Hanomag-Henschel brand trucks until 1974.
After this, the company only manufactured work machines. The Japanese company Komatsu bought the construction machine production at the turn of the 1980's and 1990's.
