Logo of "Lanerossi", home textiles brand of "Marzotto". Lanerossi was founded in 1817 as the wool mill "Lanificio Rossi" in the location of Schio, 25km north of the northeast Italian town of Vicenca. In 1987 it was taken over by Marzotto, a global textiles company based in Valdagno near Vicenza. Manufacturing in Schio was closed down in 2005. Lanerossi was well known for its the sponsorship of the football team today known as Vicenza Calcio between 1953 and 1990.
