UDX 8

Sold from 1980 to 1992, the first UDX speakers embodied the best knowledge of Atelier 33 company and its electro-acoustical department, 33 Audio.

Now developed under the Amadeus brand, the new UDX series are built according to the same values of quality, passion and design which granted them a reference status then.

Allying unique acoustical properties, a pristine sound image, a very high timbral precision and an extended frequency response, the UDX series will include four different models, each equipped with a two-way coaxial driver. The UDX 8 and UDX 10 system host a coaxial driver with 8-inch (respectively 10-inch) woofer and 1-inch tweeter with compression driver. The UDX 12 and UDX 15 system host a coaxial driver with 12-inch (respectively 15-inch) woofer and 2-inch tweeter with compression driver.

Initially available in a highly resistant black (water-soluble) paint finish, the UDX systems will then be available in different colors. To go further into this customization concept, Amadeus will offer a range of optional colors, independent for the system box itself and for the cloth covering the front protection grille. Every UDX series speaker can be ordered in a made to measure finish, based on registered or non-registered colors and/or materials.

The UDX systems will be compatible with several fixation systems developed by Amadeus and by German specialist König & Meyer.

Designed to be included within fixed or long-lasting installations, primarily in Asia, the UDX series speakers will be available in France from April 2013.
