VR
VR-Yhtymä Oy, or VR Group, is a logistics group owned by the Finnish state that operates passenger and freight traffic on Finnish railways and roads. VR had a contractual monopoly in Finnish rail traffic, which ended in freight traffic in 2007 and in long-distance passenger traffic in 2021.
The Group's logo VR is derived from the State Railways, which was the Finnish State Railways in 1862–1995.
