Wisconsin Rugby Sports Complex and National Rugby Heritage Center
Wisconsin Rugby Sports Complex –
Southern Wisconsin’s newest community, recreation and
historical center has found a new home in the thriving village
of Cottage Grove, just east of Wisconsin’s capital city, Madison.
The nonprofit Madison United Rugby has invested over
$3 million dollars in developing the Wisconsin Rugby Sports
Complex. With a focus on Community, Commerce and
Competition, its purpose is to create a year-round cultural
and recreational center open for public use.
The National Rugby Heritage Center’s museum collection will
attract international interest on par with similar museums
in New Zealand and England. This unique facility will provide
Dane County with an innovative multipurpose building that
helps drive economic development and sports tourism.
