Wittener Tage für neue Kammermusik
The "Wittener Tage fuer neue Kammermusik" is an international festival for new concert music. "Witten" does not only mean changes, new tendencies and names in contemporary music, but it also means breaking with all sorts of conventions and searching for the unusual, the unique and the experimental. It is the synthesis of traditional musical foundations and modern influences. The logo contains the name of the institution, the date and the theme "klangzeichen". The words are read over two lines that correspond with each other. The dissolving of structures and metrics in music is transfered into typographical means and forms its own language and rhythm.
