I think the top of your icing competes with the button. In regard to my earlier comment I guess I should have said "the strawberry on top". Looking at this I would think the button would be more dominant like the strawberry here.
I agree with the above. It's almost there, the cupcake just needs a little work : ). I think of the button as the "cherry on top" and cupcakes tapering to the top. It looks off balance to me right now.
I love the direction you're going with this... The colours are stop on as is the typography. But I've got to agree with everyone else that the cupcake is not quite there yet. The icing on the top is just a little too 'swooshy'. In all of the photographs you've uploaded showing what you're basing your drawing on, the icing is a nice even covering, whereas you're drawing is not. Try toning down the waviness of the icing and I think you'll be spot on. Great work.
I think it's great your logo, however, as I think about what the button. If your logo is Button - cupcake, your icon doesn't represent, appear to be contrary Cupcake - button. Give more to the button size as the picture you took of reference and the smaller cake, and you'll be perfect!

good job
Thank you! :D
I didn't want to thumbs down the symbol, but its not a thumbs up either. I have to try and see the cup cake. But not bad.
Below is the picture of the cupcake.. :D

Your cupcake looks like a 19th century turntable, you need to improve it to really look like a cupcake.
I don't get what you mean.
Can you please explain more?
Yea, i used the wrong word, the correct one would be 'phonograph':
