THE soup Kitchen

Brief from client 

we want a clean simple logo for the front of our shop. We are a soup kitchen serving hot and cold meals daily. We way the logo to be professional and have a nice colour scheme to it.

Wanted the font to be a sans serif font so i chose futura. Let me know if its any better.

This needs to be worked on more, The bowl of soup is better but I just think this idea just isnt going any where

I really like the typeface. what is it. and I wanted to go along with the soup bowl theme but that may have been a bit too much to ask.

Typography is better but that soup bowl instead of 'o' is just not working , it disturbs the balance,
Do what G mocked-up, it looks far better then your concept.

I like the colours and the font. The bowl replacing the “o” doesn't work, and the soup bowl itself could be simpler. I'm picturing a bigger icon below the name.
