Brief from client
Mahila Sampdak means Women Editor, a column of hindi newspaper, specially for women writer's.
I am not familiar with hindi letters but from visual perspective this looks very nicely composed, typography is fluid and elegant.
Only thing I can be sure of is that pen incorporated in text.
What is the meaning of red dot escapes me completely.
Anyway, this looks very nice.
The red dot is symbolic of women in India. (See picture) Almost all the Indian women wear a similar red dot on their foreheads. It's a Hindu tradition, based on ancient Hindu / Vedic science. So, the red dot, which is called a "bindi" in Hindi language, symbolizes "women" and the pen symbolizes the "editor" part. Hope it helps.. :)
