A little consistency in the fonts you use in "LUISPRATO" would do a lot of good.
The symbol has no weight. The "L" and the "P" are bigger in "LUISPRATO" than in the symbol.

Your symbol needs work to because right now i am reading the P before the L. I would try something a little more creative with your symbol as well
I agree, this is a good start definitely, but i am definitely reading 'PL' instead of LP and this could be a problem when using the logo mark by itself. I would advise that you use a sans serif typeface to work with the symbol. and also make some revisions to the actual symbol to make it more iconic and memorable.
That LP graphic mark looks like a sad and lonely little girl. It's also inconsistent with the typography used that also looks pretty bad.
I don't think this will work.
