I think it's not working. Looks like it's from the 80's. The symbol itself is a nice shape, but the way it's used with the font and colors makes it look stange. Too many typefaces in one logo.

Sorry Elizabeth.... I read somewhere that it's never a good thing to steal someone else's idea or design, especially if it's a movie company. Defunct or not, I would think there would be some heavy duty legal ramifications for using their logo. Unless of course you work for them and have permission to do so :). Other than that, I really don't mind the retro 80's look and the symbol is pleasing. I would like to see it in different colour combinations on a white background.
