The idea is simple and i like it, it is sometimes good (like in the case) to use a little symbol to identify yourself. It does not matter if you later decide to use this typography because you or your client want to.

Also the © thing is the first thing you see, why? Because its breaking the harmony of the whole thing, and the brain immediately focus on it.

The colors are neat and serious, thats fine.

And the typography is fine as well.
