Brief from client 

Rebrand our 10th annual culinary cookoff. Include tagline: "Experience Cache Valley's Premier Culinary Event," as well as culinary symbolism. Keep logo fairly simple, yet classy.

Looks more like a poster than a logo, but it still looks good.

I'd rework the curves of the the top thingy.

The colors make me feel uncomfortable - I expect bad tasting ice. Go back to the black version.
