Brief from client
No real brief. He had to come up with a name. So he used his initials.
He had approved this design. Hopefully it makes a very simple business name in to something a bit more professional.
MPR Sharpening is a saw blade sharpening company. There was no real brief to the design and a very small budget for it so little time was spent on the idea. This basically came straight from the first though in my head to Illustrator. No stock images or textures used. The blade was constructed by crating a flat shape with cloning and the 3D tool and the colours were just black and white gradients.
I hope it works for him.

I really think that is a good idea. But has problems. In small sizes it will not work.
Thanks.
We've used it at 15mm on the back of his business card and it works well. Lose the small un-needed details but it's definitely still recognisable.
In that case... I rest my case! :)
the idea is ok, but i'm not a fan of the font and especially of the gradients.
well done man!
