Brief from client
A new commercial dance act requires an AMAZING logo, something that they will use forever and that will accurately describe their brand. It has to be original, it has to be powerful, it has to be symbolic, something globally recognised as them and that won't be confused for anything else.
This band's vision is a logo that is powerful, symbolic and would be recognized immediately. I wanted to create a logo that said airplane without words but used the letters R & P.

Your brief describes exactly what ANY logo should be.
As for your logo, I don't see a place. I see a cross, maybe.
What has a plane as to do with a "commercial dance" band, anyway?
It looks way too uneven.
The brief is directly from the client. And you're right.. what does an airplane have to do with a dance band? But it's the name of the band and the band is the client. So what can you do?
What counts is that I apparently failed at creating a meaningful logo. As one of the other comments stated-- complete disaster--. Not a complete one. I've learned what not to do!

It looks like a bunch of separate letters were all center justified on top of one another.
