This logo doesn't look bad, it's pretty nice. Maybe the graphic is a little too large compared to the company name.
What I'm missing is the idea in it, I find this symbol boring, there are millions of similar clipart out there.

the idea is fine, despite the fact that are some similar already used. Now if that is a fingerprint you could can try to make some changes in colors and dynamics in order to obtain the effect of a moving finger.
