Universiteti AAB
AAB University has been founded in 2001 in a typical transitional period for society of Kosovo, from an isolated society because of monist system and Serbian occupation, into a society with clear tendencies to be open to the world, into a system with pluralistic democracy, with clear intent for European and Atlantic integration. The foundation of AAB University, exactly at the time of developing the intents to build the sovereign state through integration into modern Euro-American society, was not a coincidence, but a response to the needs of young Kosovo people to compete with equal conditions with an already opened European and global market of knowledge and work.
AAB University is being developed in course of being promoter of values and intentions of society of Kosovo, while having the main intention to be an integral part of Bologna Process, and through it to be part of the Association of European Universities.
AAB University is made of two main components: educational component and scientific-research component.
While being an integral part of Kosovo’s state and society, AAB University has developed a policy of creating a modern university, responding to the needs of Kosovo people, regional and European market of labor and knowledge, while not making any kind of compromise in the account of quality of educational process. In order to fulfill this mission, AAB University started a serious and comprehensive cooperation with some European universities, well-known worldwide for the quality and values they gave to the European and global market of knowledge and labor.
