I don't see the creativity here. It's utterly boring.

Don't confuse a simple design with a simplistic one.

Designing a good simple logo is a very complex thing to do.

Shawali..you people that have a little college education that thinks they are graphic designers. I have been in the business for 30 yrs and know what and how to use graphic elements. One thing you have to keep in mind is simplistic designs that can be used in many levels ie signs, shirt, print and so on. Who the fuck are you to judge my design. I would love to see you take a pencil and draw something in perspective or a piece of art with out Adobe Illustrator...you freakin ass. You people with negative comments on other peoples creativity PISS me off.

I agree with Shawali again- this is really, really boring, especially seeing as the company is called "Creative Minds" it seems as though a logo should be.... creative.

The colors are also a bad pick I think- the brighter blue would never print that loudly, AND I don't think you'd want it to anyway- it's very unappealing.

If I were you I'd totally just start anew. Sit around and think about what the company does best and how to employ that in a logo. Something aesthetically pleasing, something clever, something that has significance. I look forward to seeing a new version!!

well , this is specifically a logo critique website. Therefore the honest opinions and views from designers are expressed. It is not meant to harm anyone or undermine anyone's talent but to rather advise, inspire and help out other fellow designers. Your comments are not really needed as you have been quite defensive and spiteful. Go somewhere else with your sick attitude.

Well thank you for the laugh, Mark. It's been a long morning and I appreciate it.

PS- This is a logo critique site, so people CRITIQUE logos here. If you want people to 'ooh' and 'aah' over your (ugly) logo, I suggest you show it to your children or your wife/husband. You're much more likely to get a sugar-coated "Only what you want to hear" review. Please go elsewhere.

PPS- I went to art school for five years and spend a portion of every single day painting and/or drawing. So shooooooove your pissy little attitude right up your butt where it belongs!! :D

I don't see what everyone else is complaining about. This logo is WONDERFUL! I can see you definitely spent hours in your sketchbook perfecting this logo, it's just divine really. Just out of curiosity, did you do full color mockups in your sketchbook? I ask because the blinding cyan that you use is just inspiring to me, and it seems like lots of thought was put into that color choice! The 1pt underline by the way, is amazing, definitely original and really shows creativity, very minimalistic! Thank you for sharing this inspiring logo, and don't EVER take criticism from anyone, it seems like you've learned all there is to know about logo design, so all our critiques are useless! I'm just glad you decided to share your logo on this critique site for us to learn from!

I will assume that the 66 in your username is the year you were born. Well, I have one year on ya (65) so we've both been in the business for the same amount of time. I can easily STILL draw things in perspective with pencil to paper. Having said that..... There isn't one graphic element in your BORING BORING BORING design. I can't even call it a design since there is zero creativity involved. You have a word mark here, nothing more.

You would think with 30 years of experience in design, that you'd come up with something more appealing than this piece of garbage? I'd expect this from someone still wet behind the ears and just out of school. Your font selection sucks, your kerning sucks more and previously stated.... your creativity sucks the most!

You have to have at least half a mind to realize where you're posting a logo? You would think that uploading a logo design into under the heading of "CRITIQUE" that it will be up for critiquing????

When you attack people for doing what we're supposed to be doing here, you look like an idiot and expect all of us to retaliate. As a designer, you should have grown a thick skin over the years..... clearly, you haven't.

ideia simples e direcionada, não vejo simbolo, a letra legal, e acho que seu software exportou com erro tipico de corelx5 tente exportar em .png talvez saia as cores originais depois você converte com outro caso queira .jpg valeu!
