Brief from client
Needed a logo for younger women crowd so get interested in using guns for recreational and protective use. Clients goal is to get young women to have them as accessories and get more women involved with using guns and not to be afraid of them.
Symbol is based on the negative trigger space in a gun slightly tweaked to create a cute heart. Text is a bit more edgier to create contrast.
The color of the logo changes, but they are all basically neon-ish on charcoal backgrounds. I only have the only color showing here.

There might be something there in the way of concept, but this has a lot of conflicting ideas, which I think leads it to be unsuccessful. I did read the graphic as a heart the first time I saw it, so if that's what you were going for, you did that.
Unfortunately, color choice is conflicting as the cyan does not go with your imagery or text as cyan says nothing about "heart," "trigger," or "fire.". The typography is inconsistent in stroke and just doesn't read well. Also, I would have never picked up on the trigger notion in your imagery. Maybe it's time to try something else?
My main problems here are the color (it's too bright/light - very hard to see/read) and the font. It looks very much like a free DaFont.com font, and I think it might be too decorative for a main font.
The symbol is the best thing about this I'd say, but I think it could use a little work. Hopefully it'll change color, that would be rad- but I wonder if it couldn't look a little more heart-like while at the same time keeping the 'trigger' thing looking like a trigger.... Does that make sense? But I think it's actually a neat idea.
So anyway, main point: I'd change the color to something else, change the main font, and then work a little on the symbol. Just clean it up and maybe switch up how you have everything arranged! (Maybe all on one line?)
The typo and the colors are not enough girly. The symbol is awful. The idea of making guns recreational is stupid.
