Brief from client
Contest logo - 3D, high class, solar, steel structure, almost like a car logo
Heres a logo i done for a contest, i stayed off the steel structure part of the brief as i didnt think it made a good logo for a Solar panel company. I dont usually do logos in this sort of style with Gradients and 3D looks so any feedback + suggestions would be great :)

Different composition:
I like the way it turned out, and for a 3D logo that you prefer not to do it looks great!
There is still something that I'm scratching my head about, I guess its the symbol. while it is definitely nicely designed, I don't quite understand what it's supposed to be representing. If they are beams of light or energy, my mind wants to picture there being some sort of sun in the middle of those to "arms" so it looks like sun rays. which I think would be quite nice to see :)
I also like your second composition better than the one you have showing, your font lays out much nicer too!
Just my 2 cents though :D
ive actually done a version with a sphere in the middle of the first curve but i didnt like too much because it looked like a planet! its meant to be an 'e' and 's' together for the initials of the logo but i guess its looks more like just a 's' in sometype of 3D swirling solar beam.

Yeah I don't like that version either, I see why you changed it haha.
Idk, I was thinking along the lines of this, basically having a ball in the middle of the two swishes. It also brings out your "E" better. :)
But just my opinion!
