Brief from client
I didn't get any real direction for this. I was just told to make it bold and to include orange.
As I mentioned, the client wanted it to be orange, but I decided to include some other color combinations. I really am unsure how I feel about this logo at the moment. There are aspects that I like but then there are others that bother me. Looking for some feedback that can lead to a change to be self satisfied at the least. The logo was made entirely in illustrator. Absolutely no photoshop. I apologize for the slight blurriness as well.

A very good work on the effect but the composition is too classical for motorsports. Something inovative with this kind of effects should be better.

The font needs more impact, but I like the overall design. I suggest getting rid of the outline and mess with the kerning of the name. Perhaps start the name at the bottom tip of the first "M".
The tips on the "M"s and "T" need sharpening.
I love the streak across the logo, very classic; may I suggest leaving the "T" unstreaked?. I also dig the hexagonal pattern, but I find the pattern being too small to be truly noticeable.
