Celeris
Celeris means speed. The icon i have used has a meaning is not an abstract object but i want to know the first impression this logo gives.
Is it speed and movement.

I like the composition, it is neat. But personally it does not say speed nor movement to me. I don't know what the icon means.

The symbol's no good. The negative space is uneven and there are these tiny bits on the top which would be a bitch when the logo's reduced.
I do like the color and the font, though.
But you got to find a better symbol. As Mahayni said, it doesn't really say "speed"
