Sorry, but it's not really a new approach. And it doesn't work because no one will read "clamp me".

You keep repeating the same mistakes since the beginning: blocked on the same bad idea and altering the font.

Again, let go of the mouse and grab a pen.

Agreed with Shawali.

If you want a fun, comic, candy feel you should head to the candy aisle or comic shop for inspiration. I'm not sure what sort of business Clamp Me is, but see what similar businesses do with their logos. (Do not copy though!)

your problem here is not really the letters, it's the symbol it's self: in only one color, especially black, is not funny or friendly at all. you need to completely rethink this. Take Shawali's a advice, start with a pen, and let some ideas flow.
