Trying to invoke the idea of a vision of the future--standing in the road looking off into the horizon of your financial future.

The initial thought is pretty cool but the final result fails to deliver.
The symbol is too plain and looks like it's been in a few minutes without any prior sketching. If I didn't read your introduction, I would have no idea it's a road.
The main font looks really weird. The serifs are non consistent and there's a strange dent on the T.
Keep the idea but restart from scratch.

I agree here that your idea was on track but it didn't come to fruition. I have the same problem with the font and the T and I'm also a bit disappointed that there is no horizon line. If you look down the road it doesn't disappear into the sky. You have a good concept to work from so the execution just needs to be reworked. Best of luck to you.
Your symbol is to plain, the perspective is not visible, and it just remind me of a revers Varta logo. Try adding a detail or play with the lines to improve the perspective illusion. Can't wait to see the next version.
I agree with Shawali, but i think ur font choice goes in the right direction....maybe dont use a free font ;-)
