I think the added paper just feels stuck on as an afterthought. I think people are smart enough to understand that Ditto is copy paper without actually seeing it, especially since "copy paper" is written right underneath. :) Logos don't need a literal picture right beside the wordmark.
I DO like the paper symbol when it's the pattern though.
i agree i dont like the symbol at all, way to generic and seen it before. I think the wordmark is fine by itself. Just a thought but why dont you make the corner of the "d" or any of the other letters look as if its folded over or flicked up to make it look like its made out of paper
