Definitely a major improvement. It doesn't even look to me like the same artist and I mean that as a compliment. It looks a lot more professional.
I personally don't mind the metallic treatment but it should only be reserved for a deluxe version. You need to have a logo that can be reproduced in one or two colors and still maintain it's integrity.
One thing I did think might be interesting is if you had the origin point of the cloud start further left over the i. Just a thought.

Kerning needs serious attention.
I'd also simplify the cloud as the 3d metallic effect adds nothing.
Major improvement. You are on the right track.
i agree with Jon, though. the metallic/embossed clouds, despite looking quite good, defeat its own purpose. It's too hard and cold to represent vapor.
The font choice is good, but the kerning needs some serious tweaking indeed.
Good work, keep it up.
Thank you guys, I very much appreciate it.
ya well you should't use Maya for this... i mean can you sent me the .AI or .EPS?

If the corner of the top right of the "I" was pointed at the origin point of the cloud it might give you a nice implied motion.
