Brief from client
Client wanted a clean and understated design for their new logo for their new website.
Client selected this logo design to be used. I appreciate it how it is hardly groundbreaking, but would like feedback as to how it could be improved upon, yet still maintaining the basic idea.

Hello friend, I am new to this place but in my opinion:
I think the logo would improve slightly if the symbol was flat, I think that would give a greater feeling of cleanliness in the logo.
I also think that that line makes seeing the symbol and legend as two separate objects.
I like the current color, Try other color tones such have seen.
I take the audacity to make an example of what I mean, sorry if that bothers you: D

Cheers axelh, thanks for your feedback appreciate your help. It certainly doesn't bother me that you made an alternative, by far the opposite! I like what you've done a lot. I would have been considering providing a similar layout to the client as an alternative layout. Have taken your advice on board, thanks again.
Works. Neat, corporate, nothing ground breaking but definitely does the job.

Maybe you should see how it looks if you place the elements a little bit closer, if you want to keep that dividing bar/line make it thinker (just a bit).
My overall feeling is that it seems a little bit empty ( as I write above: maybe fixing the kerning and spaces) I guess that´s all; it´s good to read that it satisfies your client.
