Client asked for something simple like lettering with "X" included in project. Alfa version of logotype.

I agree with the ornamentation. It breaks the subtext from "One Decade" too much.

I assume the drop shadow is in the design for black-on-white purposes. If so, I would omit it for use on dark backgrounds as you have here.

It looks nice overall.

The D and the x are awsome exacuted nicely but i agree that the swirly thing must go.
