I like the idea behind this a lot. Just a few things, though.

1) The black triangle below the A in your symbol doesn't seem to actually accomplish anything, at least not to me. I think it could easily do without, but that's a judgment call. It could stay too.

2) I'd like to see the box in the "A" squared more. Or even a rounded square perhaps, to echo the outer shape in the "Q".

3) The slanted style on the left conflicts slightly with the type on the right. I would put the text beneath it. Just seems a bit more separate that way, so you don't read it from left to right and come across different text angles. If that makes sense?

Otherwise, great job.

thanks, will try a few variations.
the triangular shadow was just a little feature to give it depth, however works fine without it too

Great Job! i cant find fault with anything, i like the little triangle in the symbol giving it a bit of a 3D feel, it helps it to "Pop"

Very nice and smart way to implement the Q & A into a symbol. I like everything about this logo except for the lower "awards" letters. You seem to have adjusted it to fit the upper text i think this is a waste because you have such a playful and bold symbol. You should just give it the same letter sizing as the upper word.
