Digicom - IT Company

Brief from client

A small internet provider also involved in fiber optics and monitoring installations. Mainly working for business clients (B2B).

I was looking for a link between all three parts of a business (internet, fiber optics and monitoring) and I've came across an idea of "ray of light" bouncing in a square - I know it's not physically accurate :) It's simple, easy to remember... I'm just not sure if I haven't seen it somewhere before ?

Hmm. You really want to avoid relying on gradients to achieve a certain look. I think the symbol is strong, but it could lose its effectiveness when forced to go to black/white, or even flat color.

I wonder if the typography could be a bit more interesting as well. Maybe have it relate more to your shape or general scheme.

It's a good start, for sure. Keep at it.

Hi, thanks for reply. I always start with b&w but it's difficult to translate it to client (they want colours, gradients 3d look etc ;) I'm still working on it with client so I will post the final version when it will be ready.

I really like this symbol. Simple yet effective.

The font looks ok, but have you tried some alternatives? It looks a bit plain to me for some reason.

Anyway, good job.

Looks much better. I'd chalk that up as a win.

Yup, I think you nailed it. Sold!

Note that it's better to post a new version of your logo, instead of replacing the previous one. Just so we see the evolution of it and how much you rock =)
