Outside In logo
Brief from client
This is a logo for a new fictional site that is a combination of Facebook and Pinterest. It's meant to be a redo of the failed site "Myspace" One of the main attraction points of the site is that you have to have secret codes to view other peoples personal spaces. The founders are hoping to attract lots of traffic as people try to crack the secret codes.
I used a font similar to Facebook, plain and simple. I'm still not certain as to what colors I want, either red(from Pinterest), blue(from Facebook) or just plain black and white. I made the word "in" an inverse and light color then the word outside to give it a flipped "outside in" feeling. I also included a tag line(or whatever those things are called) referencing the secret space aspect.

The line under outside is totally too light and unreadable. I would be interested in seeing what other ideas you came up with.
Any ideas on what colors I should use?
Rather than ape off of facebook blue or pinterest red, come up with your own color scheme. You can check color.adobe.com for color combinations. I would suggest doing a little research on the meaning of color. E.G. google fast food logos. What colors jump out at you? That happens for a reason. Color means something to our brains. I would still be interested in seeing what other ideas you played with before settling on this one.
colors don't work, the fonts do not complement each other, the text on the bottom is way too small
I'm not a big fan of the title, it sounds a bit forced, the more correct for would be "inside out".
I see what you've tried to do with the light shadow, but you've used it wrong, the shadow should be equal and only on two parts, not three. Why not use negative space if you want to suggest a cut-out word?
