VD monogram

Brief from client 

A logo for a friend of mine. Her name is Vikky Davenport and I made a monogram with her initials. She is planning to open a small store.

I would urge her not to use her initials. Try to develop a logo based on the store name. VD isn't a great set of initials to work with.

They are her initials, I say if she wants to use them, use them. Just own it. I would add her name in there, at least for an alternate version.

And depending on her age and target market, VD won't mean anything to them. To everyone under 35 VD means nothing. STD are the initials you can't use now! :)

Did your friend ever use this logo? If not, I am interested; just a small startup lavender farm, part time. I distill my own essential oils, hydrosols and dried lavender. Just finished some bottling and need to make labels. Don’t have a lot of money but could supply free product. Let me know if you get this.
