I'm really liking where this is going. There are a few things that needs some fine tuning, though.
First off, while the symbol is great, the blue "thumb" should be exactly parallel to the upper part of the grey hexagon. Right now, it's slightly off and kinda irritating to the eye. Also, I'm not a fan how the several ends of strokes that form the symbol sometimes are rounded, sometimes squared with sharp angles. You need to make the whole thing more consistent.
I'm not feeling the bold/regular thing with the word mark. It's a bit gimmicky. The font itself is fine, but I would keep things simple and give each word the same weight.
Composition wise, the symbol is a bit too far apart. I would tighten things up a bit.
Beside that, that's a pretty solid effort. Good job!
Thanks Shawali - very helpful feedback! Im off to work on it now.
I have uploaded a revised version taking into consideration your feedback. Please take a look :)
Sorry, but a symbol doesn't work for me - it is anatomically incorrect and doesn't relate to a technology.
You of all people should be able to see things others don't. I didn't think it worked the other way around.
Why is everything a Rorschach test with you?
I actually really like this. The blue thumb doesn't bother me, really; it translates just fine as two hands shaking. But it wouldn't hurt to fine-tune it to make it even more recognizable.
I might tighten up the text a bit, in addition to making the symbol closer. Just to make everything look more "together."
Great job.

I'm sorry, but even after reading that it is supposed to be two hands shaking I still don't see that. It just looks like an awkward hand with a thumb pointing downward, or a hand turning into a 3 dimensional box. I'm not getting this at all.
