Brief from client 

My old house number is D47, thought of using four similar cutouts to form the number.

Is this revision more readable? Thanks.

I don't really see the difference with version 1.

Maybe if you'd put the 7 at the same level than the 4...

It looks exactly the same, just a different paint job. The letters/numbers look extremely awkward in both, and was hard for me to read at first too.

This really isn't working for me no matter what the color. It looks like a belt buckle and a broken belt buckle. Even if I did get D47 out of it, D47 means nothing to me. You need to really think what your logo is trying to say.

version 1 is the same than your second version apart of the color...
overall barely readable, and the shapes are too "wild" for me
