Fox Colour

Brief from client
Here is the new version of the recent logo fox colour. Feedback please.
The brush is nicer in this version. Much easier to see. I don't know if you need gradients to make the logo work and I wouldn't discount other colours just yet.
However, you have gone from generic font #1, to generic font #2. http://www.fontsquirrel.com/
Find something that has personality. Foxcolour should have a fun wordmark, not a wordmark for a photocopier repair company.
Looks great. I'd just remove that gradient, and maybe add a more sensible color to the bristles. Usually I'd say the monochromatic look is nice and simple, but I think that would do a disservice to a logo with a company called "Fox COLOR." So I would strongly suggest doing some color studies and see what works.
The typography is BETTER, but still quite plain. I agree with Waffles here.
Good luck! I look forward to the next version. Oh, and avoid making a separate post for future logos. Just upload a new version. It's nice to see the progression on the side :)
Both are really poor font choices =(
I definitely like the idea of color in the bristles vs the entire symbol being orange- but it is somewhat starting to look like a hair pick here.
It is such a nice start to what will be a nice logo- I suggest you research some font options, and maybe some color palettes, too.
Keep working on it!!!
I was going to say what Shawali said below. I can't tell you what to use (this is your journey friend!), but the way I go about it some times is to look at the characteristics of the logo. For example, is it sharp, geometric and edgy? Or does it have smooth curves? Then, I look for a font that shares some of those characteristics.
Another thing to try- get a pencil out and start sketching some letters- see what you come up with on your own. Then, search for fonts that share similar style to what you draw that you like.
Also, don't be afraid to alter a font! If you just can't find exactly what you want, make it! Even if it's slight changes- for instance you found letters you really like but they have sharp edges, round some corners! Or alter the serifs!
In my opinion, I would say a san serif font would match your logo better- but ultimately it is up to you!
Keep at it!
I liked the brush better before it became a comb. :)
Try some colours, maybe a brown for the bristles, and paint on top of that? A bit 'expected' perhaps, but the tail handle is the key to the effect, not the paint.
I much prefer the original bristles. If I really had to choose between these two, I'd pick the upper one.
I'm still not feeling the fonts. I know it can be frustrating, but you really have to find the right fit with your symbol. look at it, it doesn't really have any hard edges, but round and soft angles. Look for a font that has kinda the same features.

Give it a few days, let the ideas simmer in your mind, and allow more feedback to come in before changing anything! :)
Here is the quick version i made what you think waffles,
Nah, the colored bristles take the focus away from what really matters, ie the tail.

yes waffles i agree with you on this will be try for new colors. can you suggest some font for this logo because i try alot but not working
It's definitely a major step in the right direction.
The gradient doesn't bother me. As long as you have a version of your logo without it ready to go, you're fine.
The font is still a problem. Check out www.losttype.com for some really cool and free fonts.
Besyar khub ast!
Here is the logo with new fonts and color.
