Brands of the World is the largest free library of downloadable vector logos, and a logo critique community. Search and download vector logos in AI, EPS, PDF, SVG, and CDR formats. If you have a logo that is not yet present in the library, we urge you to upload it. Thank you for your participation.
I am not a fan. I don't understand the shadowing. I don't see and R and an S, I see an oddly shaded box with a C or a K to the left and a purple line without reason. For me the whole thing is off balance. I also don't understand why the R is capitalized and the s is not. The kerning is off on GRAPHIC DESIGN.
Like one of the other submissions by one of your friends, this look very generic and corporate.
Do they teach you about any creative process in your school? One that should include that you must spend a good amount of time researching and sketching before committing anything else on the computer.
There's a world of difference between a logo that is the product of a proper creative process and one that does not. Unfortunately, this one seems to belong in the latter category.
Man, I wish there was a site like Brands of the World when I was a student =)
It amazes me that the word "design" especially in the title "graphic design" is the most un-kerned word on the entire first page of critique!!!!!! ahhhhhh!
Andddd so many gradients!!!! another ahhhhhh!!
I read "GO" in your symbol. So it is not working. I don't understand the need for having the R in Roos larger. Other than that I agree with all the previous comments above.
Seven logos for graphic designers, from seven new accounts. All accounts created and files uploaded within an hour of each other. Several of them identify themselves as 'second-year design students'...
Are you all in the same class? It's interesting that your instructor would point you to our website as a resource. I hope we can help.
It's not the first the time. It happened last year too.
It's pretty cool, it creates a lot more traffic. I hope they will stick around and more students will come. This is what the Critique section is really about =)
Yes, we are beginners, so we can learn a lot from you guys, where we don't think about it.
So thank you all for the feedback, it help us to get our logos better!

I really like the icon in the logo. I see the R and the S.
