Brief from client
Create a logo for a store that sells newspapers / magazines (Press), books and also decorative items / gifts.
The idea is based on a multi paged / bag symbol.
Paper pages are for the newspapers, magazines, books.
The bag is necessary for carrying the items.
The type of font that is used is based on the heading of a newspaper.
Clean, minimal, memorable result.

I like this, and it's very suitable for your business.....but what the hell is going on with those letter "S's" ????? Is one of them upside down???
Also, you need to match up the corners around your "dog eared" page. The one at the top is a bit distracting....or it would be if I could stop staring at that "S"!!
=) Refine a bit and you will be on to something nice!
Second thought, do you really need the "dog ear" page? It would be the cover of the "book" technically, so maybe it is not even necessary?
I like it very much but maybe I should stylize better some design details like the handle and the top right corner that I think represent the electronic paper sheet. Now is too little, so I think it should better increase and let it be more important or delete it.
I have no suggestions about the colors.
