The logo says "hachi" and it is for a Design Business.

Please, any thoughts?

Sorry, I read "hach". When I looked at the thumbnail, I thought to myself "please don't be an I"... But alas... =)

I was wondering what a hachi was...apparently its a dog who befriends Richard Gere- huh, who knew!?! lol
But anyway- the word is not immediately recognizable (to me at least) so that 1/2 h could as easily be a 1/2 b. I like the typeface tho, I would ditch the "pencil" reference and play with the letters as a type only logo.

I read "hachy" myself. Needless to say, the I needs tweaking.

Also, why is the rightmost leg of the first "h" higher?
